Who provides Bill Book

Your business records

Business details, customer and supplier information, products, stock, bills, orders, payments, expenses and selected receipt images are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Bill Book does not require an account and does not automatically upload these business records to our servers. This edition has no cloud sync or advertising. Android automatic app backup is disabled.

Camera, photos and files

Camera access is used when you choose to scan a barcode. You can select a business logo, receipt image, CSV or backup through device pickers. These inputs support the feature you requested. Receipt text recognition runs on-device using Google's bundled ML Kit text-recognition SDK. Review extracted text before saving it.

SDK diagnostics

Google documents collection by ML Kit of device and app information, installation identifiers, performance metrics, feature events and configuration information for diagnostics and usage analytics. This is separate from your locally stored business records. Google states that this diagnostic data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and is not transferred to third parties by ML Kit. See Google's ML Kit data disclosure and privacy policy for details. Bill Book does not include an advertising SDK or its own analytics service.

Exports and sharing

Backup, CSV and PDF exports contain information you enter. You choose their destination using device file or sharing tools. Other apps and cloud providers process files you send under their own policies. Backup files are not encrypted by Bill Book. Keep them in a private location and share only with intended recipients.

Retention, deletion and security

Local records remain until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. A restore keeps a local recovery copy for undo; clearing app storage removes that copy too. Export any records you need first. Exported or shared files must be deleted separately from their destinations. We cannot recover records stored only on your device. Bill Book relies on device security and does not add database encryption or an app password. Use a screen lock and maintain backups. SDK diagnostic information is handled under Google's policies; clearing local storage does not request deletion of data already processed by Google.

Support and website

If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments. We use them to respond and retain correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable retention obligations. Request correction or deletion by emailing hello@pinetechits.com. Do not send customer data or backups unless you intend to disclose their contents. Our public website has its own privacy notice, including its website analytics practices.

Audience and changes

Bill Book is intended for adult business users, not children. We may update this policy when features or data practices change and will update its effective date. Contact hello@pinetechits.com with questions.
