1. Direct Peer-to-Peer Architecture
Remote Desk P2P (Redesk) is built on an end-to-end encrypted Peer-to-Peer (WebRTC) architecture. When you establish a remote desktop session, your video stream, mouse and keyboard inputs, clipboard data, and file transfers travel directly between the host and client computers.
We do not operate relay servers that intercept, decrypt, record, or store your live screen content, audio, or files. All communication channels are protected with industry-standard DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security) and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) encryption.
2. Signaling & Session Handshake Data
To connect two devices across the internet, Redesk utilizes an ephemeral signaling server (wss://coderbunch.com/signaling). During the connection phase:
- A temporary, random 6-digit session code is generated in memory.
- Cryptographic session negotiation packets (SDP offer/answer and ICE network candidates) are relayed strictly in RAM to facilitate direct P2P connection establishment.
- No session metadata, IP logs, or session content are written to persistent databases or disks. Once the direct peer-to-peer connection is established or closed, session data in memory is immediately erased.
3. Screen Capture & Remote Control Permissions
Remote Desk P2P captures desktop screen frames and injects mouse and keyboard events solely to provide remote technical assistance and collaboration. This operation occurs only when:
- The host actively runs the desktop application and explicitly generates a connection code.
- The remote user provides the matching authentication credentials (and optional session password).
- The host retains full visual notification of the active remote connection and can terminate the session instantly at any time.
4. Clipboard Synchronization & File Transfer
If enabled during an active session, clipboard text and user-selected files are transmitted exclusively over encrypted P2P WebRTC data channels directly to the paired computer. Files are never stored on intermediate servers, and clipboard contents are never recorded or logged.
5. Telemetry & Advertising
Remote Desk P2P contains zero third-party advertisements, zero user tracking SDKs, and zero telemetry recording. We do not track which applications you open, your keystrokes, your session duration, or your identity.
