Who we are

Rokda Payout Reconciliation (“Rokda”) is a Shopify app provided by PINETECH IT SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED (Pinetech ITS) under the Coderbunch brand. This policy explains what Rokda processes when a merchant installs and uses it.

Information from Shopify

When you install Rokda, Shopify shares your store domain, an access token and the details of the staff account that opens the app, such as name, email address and language. We use these only to authenticate you inside Shopify admin.

Rokda has read-only access to orders. It reads orders and their payment transactions through Shopify’s Admin API, for the period of the report you upload, to compare them with that report. Order data is read when you run or re-check a reconciliation and is not copied in full.

Information from uploaded reports

From the gateway settlement reports you upload, we store only payment, refund and order identifiers, amounts, fees, taxes, settlement ids, UTRs and dates. Notes, card details, email addresses and phone numbers in the file are ignored and never saved. For each line we also store the matched Shopify order id and order number.

We do not store customer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a server operated by Pinetech ITS at DigitalOcean, and is sent over HTTPS. Access is limited to our staff who maintain the app.

Retention and deletion

You can delete any reconciliation from inside the app at any time. When you uninstall Rokda, Shopify sends a shop redaction request 48 hours later and we then delete all data for your store. Because we do not store customer personal data, customer data and redaction requests from Shopify need no further action, and we confirm them.
