Your commercial data stays on your premises

ApexPOS is an enterprise desktop supermarket point-of-sale terminal that runs locally on Windows workstations. All product inventories, barcodes, pricing structures, cashier shifts, sales transactions, customer Khata credit accounts, and supplier records are stored strictly on your local device and private store network.

We do not operate backend cloud servers that collect, ingest, or store your transactional or commercial records. Your retail business records never leave your workstations through ApexPOS.

Information we DO NOT collect

• No Personal Customer Data Harvesting: We do not collect, harvest, or monitor customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, or payment card details.
• No Advertising or Tracking SDKs: The application contains zero advertising networks, tracking cookies, third-party profiling scripts, or behavioral telemetry.
• No Monetization of Business Data: We never sell, rent, monetize, or transmit your transaction ledgers or customer databases to any external entity.

Hardware permissions and system capabilities

ApexPOS requests standard Windows capabilities strictly to execute core point-of-sale retail operations:

• Hardware Peripherals (runFullTrust): Enables direct local communication with ESC/POS thermal receipt printers (80mm/58mm), RJ11/RJ12 cash drawer kick pulses, physical USB/Bluetooth 1D/2D barcode scanners, and produce weighing scale scales.
• Local Network (privateNetworkClientServer): Used strictly for peer-to-peer LAN synchronization between checkout counters, warehouse depot terminals, and secondary customer pole displays within your private store network.
• Internet (internetClient): Utilized solely if the merchant initiates online payment validation (such as dynamic UPI QR payment polling) or checks for software updates.

Data retention and backups

Store owners retain 100% control over their database. Full database backups can be exported or restored at any time via the Admin Portal in standard JSON format. Deleting the application removes its local data files according to your Windows operating system settings.

Children’s privacy

ApexPOS is commercial enterprise point-of-sale software designed for retail businesses and does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from children under the age of 13.

We use this information solely to resolve your support inquiry. Please do not send confidential customer payment data in support emails.
