The same order number can appear in two sales channels. A packing check based only on order number can therefore confirm the wrong parcel. Use channel, order ID and SKU together.
Prepare your input
Export an order-lines CSV with channel or store, order ID, SKU, optional barcode and required quantity. If combining stores, map channel explicitly. Resolve duplicate line identities or ambiguous barcodes before beginning.
Work through the task
Import the file into Scan and Pack Checker. Select the order line or enter its identity, scan or type SKU or barcode, and add a whole quantity. The app rejects unknown items and quantities beyond what remains. Undo reverses the last accepted batch. An order is complete only when all its lines match; it cannot be manually marked complete. Save a session if the packing shift stops, then resume and export results.
Example to try
Imagine Store A and Store B both use order 1042. The first needs two blue mugs; the second needs one red mug. Channel identity keeps them separate. A blue mug scan against the red line should be rejected, and adding a third blue mug should be refused. Only the fully matched order should show complete.
Check the result
Seed a practice order with a wrong SKU, an extra unit and an incomplete line. Confirm each is caught before trusting the process. Compare exported completion status with the physical parcel, then close the box.
Know the current limits
There is no live store update or carrier booking. Real scanner and packing-desk trials remain necessary.
