Test a local portrait background cutout

Prepare a small test

Choose a portrait with a clear person and a varied background. Keep the original file and avoid sensitive images during a prototype test.

Work through the task

The local removeBg project loads BodyPix in the browser, selects a person mask and makes other pixels transparent on a canvas. Run the local server, select a sample image and inspect the preview.

Check the result

Zoom in on hair, hands and transparent edges. Compare results against a second image with similar foreground and background colors, and check whether a usable export option exists in the current build.

Current limits

This is an unreleased local prototype with no verified public product page or download. The code targets people, not general product-photo background removal, and the result is not production-ready.
