A catalog looks uneven when product photos have unrelated aspect ratios and backgrounds. A repeatable canvas size helps shoppers compare items and makes bulk uploads easier to review.
Prepare your input
Choose a target canvas size and a small mixed batch first: one portrait, one landscape, one transparent PNG and one image with camera rotation metadata. Keep originals in a separate folder.
Work through the task
In Product Photo Batch Studio, select images and set the white output canvas. Images are fitted inside the canvas; transparent pixels become white. Preview a chosen encoded output to check its dimensions and estimated bytes, then export new JPEG, PNG or WebP copies. Quality affects JPEG and WebP; it is not a background-removal control.
Example to try
Try a transparent bottle PNG and a landscape box photo on the same square canvas. Both outputs will have identical dimensions, but their visible products should retain natural proportions. A white canvas does not make an opaque gray wall disappear. Review one output in each file format you intend to upload, since compression and transparency handling differ.
Check the result
Compare exported files with originals for cropping, color, rotation and readable package text. Confirm every intended SKU is represented before uploading. Existing output files are not overwritten, so review any conflict warning and choose a new destination when needed.
Know the current limits
Opaque backgrounds remain; this release has no AI removal or automatic SKU mapping. Large batches can run synchronously, so try a small batch first.
