Offer delivery slots that operations can actually fulfill

Prepare a small test

List real delivery days, blackout dates, capacity and cut-off time. Use a test website and two different customer locations if your service area varies.

Work through the task

The Odoo module page describes a preferred delivery date and time slot at checkout. In a test database, place one order in an open slot and try another near the cut-off, then inspect sale order and delivery records.

Check the result

Check timezone display, customer confirmation and what happens when operations cannot meet the requested slot. Keep a manual fallback for exceptional deliveries.

Current limits

The registry records an advertised Odoo 19 listing, not an independently installed module. Confirm version compatibility and current listing before production use.
