DeliveryNotes privacy policy

Effective 18 October 2026. DeliveryNotes is operated by PINETECH IT SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED under the Coderbunch brand.

Information used

When a merchant installs DeliveryNotes, Shopify provides the store domain, an access token, and standard session and staff account fields. We store these in an application session database to authenticate the embedded app. DeliveryNotes requests read_products and write_products so a merchant can find products and save or clear notes. It does not request customer or order scopes and does not copy the product catalog into its database.

Product notes and storefront

Dispatch and delivery notes are stored in the merchant's Shopify product metafield custom.deliverynotes. Optional defaults stay in Shopify theme block settings. Shopify serves the theme app extension. The storefront block does not send shopper browsing activity, names, emails, or orders to Coderbunch, and DeliveryNotes does not use storefront analytics cookies or tracking pixels.

Use and sharing

We use merchant session information to run the app and make authorized Shopify Admin API requests. We do not sell merchant or shopper information. Our hosting provider processes application traffic and operational logs on our behalf. Shopify processes installation, authentication, theme extension delivery, and store data under its own policies.

Retention and deletion

DeliveryNotes deletes stored sessions for a shop after an authenticated app-uninstalled or shop-redact webhook. Authenticated customer data request and customer redact webhooks return without customer data because the app keeps no customer records. Merchants can clear product notes in App Home; theme settings and metafields are otherwise governed by their Shopify store. Operational error logs may contain a store domain and are retained only as needed to operate and secure the service.

Security and requests

The app uses HTTPS and verifies Shopify webhook signatures. Access tokens are held on the application server, not in storefront code. For questions about access, correction, or deletion, email support@coderbunch.com. If the app changes, we will update this policy and its effective date.
